Allow me to introduce you to Sue.

Sue’s full name is Self-Managing, Scattered, Stuck Sue.
Sue has been struggling with IBS, stomach pain and acne and desperately wants to feel free from her symptoms which have been consuming her life and stealing moments of joy.
After eating, she feels like a sluggish blob with little motivation or interest in being active or lively. She just wants to lie down. And what’s worse, she gets hit with a big 2pm energy crash that only a nap and a sugary or carby snack can fix.
Sue just wants to feel better in her body again. She’s craving the mental freedom to stop thinking about her gut and skin problems. She wants to feel like nothing can stop her and get back to living her life.
It’s like she just can’t quite get there.
She thinks she hasn’t figured out the right food to avoid, the right tests to run or the right supplements to take. She starts thinking that if she can just eat the perfect diet, that it will all go away. So, she cuts out everything “bad” that she can think of - gluten, dairy, sugar, alcohol. And she cuts it out all at once cold turkey.
Eating stops being an enjoyable pleasurable part of life for Sue, and instead becomes obsessive and perfectionistic. She feels like her entire lifestyle and personality are dictated by her symptoms. Her entire routine, and choices are dictated by them.
At some point, she decides to try the FODMAP diet because she heard that FODMAP foods could be making her symptoms worse. She tries the diet for 2 weeks but struggles to find things to eat now that she’s cut out a lot of her normal foods.
She’s overwhelmed by trying to figure out what she can eat, that she feels like the entire process is pointless.

On top of that, the diet is difficult to maintain, and she doesn’t notice any significant changes, so she slips back into her normal eating habits and patterns.
Despite Sue’s efforts to eat better in hopes that it will make her feel better, she still gets stomach pain and acne all along her jawline. Sue is completely discouraged. She wishes she knew the magic formula to feel better and eat in a way that nourishes her body.
Each time Sue feels like she’s making progress, she has another flare up or bad breakout. She thinks, what’s even the point?
She thinks, maybe it was that yogurt I ate. But I had yogurt last month and don’t think I had a reaction. Maybe it was that new supplement I started. Or maybe it’s because I’ve been more stressed.
Do you see how lost Sue is in analysis paralysis? There are so many pieces tangled together that she’s getting whiplash.

Sue is lost in the sauce of trying to piece the pieces of the puzzle together.
She feels like she keeps taking one step forward and two steps backward.

She doesn't feel confident in what she's trying.
And what’s worse is that this throws her into anxiety, insecurity and doubt. It’s like she’s in a hole that she can’t climb herself out of.

Sue feels like her life revolves around managing her symptoms. That’s why she’s self-managing Sue. She feels like life has become so restrictive and unmanageable.
She just wants to feel at peace with her body and food choices and not feel stomach pain, bloating or gas after eating. Sue hates that she can’t pinpoint why she’s having these symptoms to begin with. She has a running list of potential ideas, but every time she thinks she’s close, she isn’t.
She sees a couple doctors to try to figure it out, but she keeps being met with unsatisfying answers. She has some routine blood work done, and the doctor says that things look pretty normal.
She can’t understand why she’s being told that she’s healthy and normal when she doesn’t feel like it (hint: things can “look normal” when you’re looking for the wrong things).
Sue goes back to the drawing board and goes back and forth trying different supplements (never a good idea), starting and stopping different diets, and trying to figure out what’s going on without structured support.
She is trying many strategies, but nothing has really helped her find the full relief she is looking for.
She starts (falsely) believing that she’ll never find a day where she has complete relief from her digestive discomforts and confidence-crushing acne. After a couple of months of feeling discouraged and another bad flare up, she’s resorted to trying to figure it all out on her own.

Sue wants a quick solution (and who could blame her), so...
She buys a class on gut health.
She buys books.
She buys 10 different supplements that she’s heard are good for gut and hormonal health online and starts taking them all at once.
She orders a stool test she heard was good but can’t interpret the results or know what to do with them.
She spends a couple thousand dollars hoping that this will be it. She thinks ok aaaand now everything is going to clear up. All that I’ve been doing and learning and implementing will fix my acne and loose stools.

But then again, she has another round of loose stools and a bad breakout. Sue is yet again met with disappointment.
She’s frustrated that she’s spending a bunch of money on things that aren’t getting her results.
Drowning in information, opinions and recommendations, she’s now even more confused and overwhelmed with knowing where to start or what to try that will really make a difference. She just can’t crack the code on what her body really needs or not.
She feels scattered and discouraged. She feels burnt out from her healing journey and wellness in general. She feels ready to just accept that she’s going to feel this way for the rest of her life. She really wants to be in tune with her body and understand its needs but can’t find the compassion or flexibility for herself or her journey.
Sue is spinning her wheels trying to figure everything out on her own but she’s keeping herself stuck. She doesn’t know yet what Claudia knows.

What Sue doesn't know (and again, who could blame her) is that there is a proven method to ensure that she gets the results she's after that will heal her symptoms not for the short term, but the long term.
(But don’t worry. There’s hope for Sue.)

Claudia also used to struggle with similar symptoms - heartburn, bloating and PMS, but that’s where the similarities end.
Unlike Sue, she’s not lost in heaps of information, key tips and supplements. She has a simplified streamlined plan.
Read that again. She’s not guessing or second-guessing herself. She’s not wasting her time and money trying different things without finding results.
Claudia isn’t wasting a single more penny on DIYing from information on the internet, or on anymore supplements or classes.
Instead, she’s following a clear customized protocol based on her bio-individual needs that’s backed by science and research. Based on her coach's expertise recommendations, she’s doing functional testing that has revealed the exact deficiencies, dysfunctions and areas of her body that need support.
No more guessing.
It’s easy for Claudia to stick to and trust her process and not be tempted to quit and try something else because she’s feeling SO much better and knows where she’s headed.
She found that her body is capable of healing once it was given the right nutrients and conditions in which to thrive.
Claudia doesn’t want the easy shortcuts, because she knows that healing requires time, patience and consistency with a structured protocol. She loves the new skills she’s learning that come with figuring out how to overcome digestive dysfunction and hormonal imbalances.
Instead of focusing on individual symptoms because she learned that she needs to understand the bigger picture to get results. She knows that her symptoms are just her body trying to tell her something about a deeper underlying issue.
Her coach is someone who has already gone through what she’s going through and is doing the deep investigative work to determine the root cause of her symptoms. She gets her coaching, then confidently takes action based on that root cause and doesn’t second guess herself.
She’s learned about optimal digestive functioning and hormonal health. She now understands why she’s been suffering with heartburn, bloating and PMS for so long and why she hasn’t found relief yet. She knows how everything is connected.
Instead of being unsure of the best choice or where to go next, her coach is guiding her to find the right foods, habits and supplements that will work best for her body.
And if Claudia gets stuck or has another flare, she doesn’t get derailed anymore. She works with her coach to know exactly how she is going to support herself to stay on the right path.
And it’s working.
She’s starting to feel nourished and confident. Claudia is beginning to believe that real lasting healing is possible for her.

By staying consistent, trusting the proven process and working along with her coach, clear, vibrant, and thriving Claudia has found near complete relief from her symptoms.
She’s found the balance of enjoying eating her favorite foods again without worrying that she’s sending herself backwards on her healing journey. She is able to seamlessly digest all of the nutrients in the food she’s eating. She feels at peace with her food choices and in tune with her body.
Instead of needing to go home early from a dinner out with friends because she's feeling too much stomach discomfort, she can finally enjoy those nights out without thinking about the consequences of what she’s going to eat.

She also used to experience anxiety, and now she’s starting to feel mentally clear and playful again. The healing she’s achieving is spilling into all areas of her life and opening up a new world she didn’t know was possible.
That’s why Claudia is clear and vibrant. Claudia finally knows how to heal and nourish herself in a sustainable and effective way.
She feels unstoppable. She can enjoy all of her passions again. She has the energy to move, be active and lively.
She feels empowered knowing that what she eats is healing and nourishing her body. Claudia feels light, like she’s dancing on air. She’s living life to its fullest again.
She eats meals with confidence, knowing that the foods she’s eating are nourishing her body. Claudia is laser focused on implementing one healing protocol she’s invested in and focusing on deeper levels of healing instead of symptom management.
What is the takeaway here?
Sue spins in confusion, doubt and overwhelm with her symptoms. She can’t pinpoint what will unlock the relief she’s desperate for. She can’t enjoy food anymore or life in the way she used to.
Claudia is celebrating successes she’s having with her healing journey. She feels clear, confident and supported. She’s finding balance, vibrance and freedom from her health issues.
She’s free to channel her energy to her passions and other things she enjoys in life, rather than feeling miserable. Her success is spilling over into her relationships, work, and self-confidence. Everyone in Claudia's life is asking for her secret.
It’s lonely and agonizing to be Sue.
It’s encouraging and vivacious to be Claudia.
